School! ~ How to choose?
Golf School should be a memorable experience!
You should have a sense of improvement and enjoyment.

The following is a helpful check list ….
Time & Money How much time can you afford and how much money
are you willing to spend?
Dates What dates, or time of year, would suit you?
Duration of course Intensive 3 – 5 days, or sessions spread
out over a longer period.
Location - consider the weather at the location, as well as
travel time.
Reputation – are participants returning? Recommended by
knowledgeable friends?
Ratio of seasoned teaching professional to students? Make
sure professionals are qualified. A ratio of 4 – 1 is optimum.
Program –Does the program include all areas of the game, or
specialize in specific areas such as short game, long game, mental
game?
Type of instruction – private, or group, or combo of these?
Teaching Equipment – video, swing speeds etc
Type of accommodation – is this important to you?
Extras included – goody bags? spa treatments? reduced fee
for returning participants?
On course play available – often offered at reduced rates or
free for participants.
Club fitting available – professional club fitter available?
Evaluation – are participants encouraged to evaluate the
program?
The following is an example of a “fun” time at a golf school!
For the past 2 seasons, I have persuaded 5 friends to go to
Pendleton, Oregon, for a 3 day Pros2gGo golf school. Fun, fun,
fun!
